Role Summary

Client Support Technician reports to support supervisor, which is a part of the Collaboration and Workplace Technologies Division. Primary duties include install, maintain, configure, test, document and repair software and hardware used on desktops, laptops, mobile computers, printers, peripherals, audio/visual and other unique hardware or software used within the organization. You will work on software and operating system deployment, vendor coordination, creating user guides, act as subject matter expert on specifically assigned technology, and train IT staff as needed. Advanced IT knowledge, including desktop operating systems, security, networking, applications and excellent customer service skills are a desired requirement. Position requires attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced computing environment.


Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure all work assignments are completed in a timely and professional manner while providing high quality service.

• Continuously seek to improve processes and services, working with team members and management.

• Use existing tools and systems to perform daily functions of the job, completing documentation and status updates in a timely manner.

• Provide Tier II escalation support for Service Desk.

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) as assigned by supervisor.

• Be familiar with ITIL framework.

• Bring sophisticated technical expertise, integrity, and outstanding customer service to the team.

• Perform varied job tasks commensurate with the IT Professional C level.


SkillBridge Eligibility Requirements

• U.S. Citizen

• Active-duty with 6–12 months remaining before separation

• TAP requirements completed

• Command approval secured or in progress to participate in SkillBridge


Required Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years Windows desktop/laptop support experience in a professional enterprise environment, including: O365/MS Office, and other software applications.

• Experience installing, upgrading and/or configuring computers and software, including client-side networking and telephony skills.

• Demonstrated success record in documenting technical procedures and communications.

• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with many customers and competing priorities.


Physical Requirements

Must be able to:

• Lift 25 lbs

• Stand for long periods of time

• Take equipment on and off shelves

• Work around and under desks

• Climb flights of stairs

• Walk frequently for extended periods of time


Preferred Qualifications

Role Summary

As a Delta Air Lines Product Owner, you will serve as the bridge between business strategy and IT development, managing the product lifecycle, defining requirements, and prioritizing the backlog for squads. Key responsibilities include creating user stories, leading agile ceremonies, collaborating with stakeholders to improve customer and employee experiences, and leveraging data for informed decision-making.


Summary of Responsibilities

The following is a summary of responsibilities and is not comprehensive of all tasks:

• Provide leadership and direction to Analysts in reviewing, communicating, and translating business needs for both technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders.

• Direct the work of squad/pods within Information Technology to prioritize the sprint backlog, balancing requirements of business stakeholders.

• Directly work with internal and external design resources to create UX/UI experiences to support new product functionality for both informational and transactional customer needs.

• Collaborate with other Product Owners, Product Managers, and stakeholders to refine features and stories and accept completed stories, ensuring they meet all predefined criteria.

• Coordinate with other Product Owners across the organization to align cross-squad efforts and maintain coherence in product development.

• Translate product development goals into requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

• Attend regular ceremonies with the Information Technology team including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint review/demos, and retrospectives.

• Identify and communicate opportunities to increase revenue, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

• Provide regular status reports to key stakeholders, sponsors, project managers, and others involved in the project.

• Play an integral role in engagement, communication, change management, feedback loops, and overall leadership visibility across the system.

• Develop both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and wellbeing.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of writing user stories and ensure they clearly convey the required functionality to the IT development teams.

• Actively participate in all squad ceremonies, including sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives.

• Provide continuous feedback during sprint demos and lead discussions to ensure effective iterations of product features.

• Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders to review product progress and outcomes.

The Role: Applied Engineer
Applied Engineers operate at the intersection of research and deployment, working directly with government and enterprise partners to deliver mission-critical AI solutions. Meet the Owner

My name is Dr. Cynthia Borel. My doctorate in Adult Education is from Auburn University. I am retired with over 40 years in the military and civil service. I am back in school at Troy University, working on my 3rd Master in Instructional Design. It is a pleasure to return to school to learn as much as possible. The classes have taught me much, but I know there is still much more to learn. The best part about the program is that I learn something new daily. I am in awe of the technology we can use and understand. Building this website is part of my current and emerging trends class project requirements. I have had many firsts this term. I did my first blog and instructional video last week. I also created my first real newsletter the week before that. Before that, I was learning about the different platforms available to communicate, socialize and learn. Now I am here building a website. Looking forward to the challenge.
